Why does GO-Pen exist?

GO-Pen’s CEO and co-founder Ole Kjerkegaard Nielsen, featured in Dutch TV-programme De Barometer, explains why he started the company and how GO-Pen will improve diabetes care for millions of people.

Today, millions of people still use disposable syringes to inject insulin, even though much safer insulin pens were launched back in the 1980s. People do so because they have no good alternative. At GO-Pen we want to create a solution that takes its point of departure in people’s needs and ability to pay. We are creating an insulin pen for all.
