We believe that everyone should have the same access to high quality care - as a minimum all people with diabetes should have an insulin pen.
We dream of a world where no person with diabetes uses syringes to inject themselves. Instead, they use a pen.
Today, 13 million people living with diabetes don’t have access to insulin pens for their daily injections. We want to change this, so we are developing an insulin pen that is are accessible and affordable and will bring insulin pens into the hands of people who today have no other alternative than syringe and vials.
How we work
In everything we do, we take a point of departure in people’s life situation including their ability to pay. We combine new and existing technology to keep the cost of research and development at a minimum. GO-Pen is as safe and precise as any other insulin pen. The new thing about GO-Pen is that:
it will cost the same as a syringe/vial
it will be usable for up to three years, so the plastic waste is much less than other pens - or disposable syringes*
it will be compatible with various types of insulin
